About Us

Our Story

We're Rebecca and Evelyn, a mother-daughter studio focused on handmade textiles and home fragrances.

Evelyn started out as Gingham Gals Sewing Studio, creating aprons for local craft fairs using vintage patterns passed down through generations in our family. Many of the designs she still uses today belong to her mother and grandmother (Rebecca's grandmother and great-grandmother). Each apron is made slowly and thoughtfully, just the way our grandmothers made them.

Meanwhile, Rebecca's love for a calm, cozy home led to creating and selling wax melts and room sprays, pouring and blending in small batches after work and on weekends.

Eventually, those two paths came together to create Cherry + Cotton, combining handmade textiles and small batch fragrances inspired by vintage homemaking and slow living.

Nothing is rushed. Nothing is mass produced. We want your homes to feel calm, cozy and a little bit nostalgic.

Each textile is individually sewn. Our heritage aprons are made from vintage patterns. No two pieces are exactly alike.

To ensure freshness, intentional production, and reduce waste, fragrances are created only once an order has been placed.

Just like generations before us, we prioritize natural and lower impact materials whenever possible, like 100% cotton fabrics, soy-based wax and non-toxic, phthalate free fragrances.
